Grand Hinckley Details

Grand casino hinckley poker room

Within the Grand Casino Hinckley is the Royal Oaks poker room. Open Thursday through Sunday, the Royal Oaks is a popular place to kick back and enjoy the action. As a Minnesota poker room, the Royal Oaks is subject to all of the state’s restrictions on gambling. Unfortunately for no-limit hold’em fans, this means that only fixed limit games are played. This hardly seems restrictive when you see the range of games spread — with the typical action including seven-card stud and Omaha eight-or-better.

The Royal Oaks poker room is found in a small section of the south side of the Grand Casino, not far from the pool pit. The room itself is secluded by sealed doors to prevent too much casino floor noise from disrupting the poker action. Players get to enjoy exciting promotions that spice up the action and increase the demand for seats. We advise that you arrive promptly to avoid disappointment. All games offer a bad-beat progressive jackpot that pays out a minimum of $5,000 per hit. If you often play limit poker, you will know how hard it is to nurse pocket aces through to the scoop the pot on the river. At the Royal Oaks, you can take your pocket rockets to war with total confidence, knowing that all players who lose with the bullets get $50 in cash.

The Grand Casino operates the Grand Rewards Players Club, which rewards regular play with same-day cash back, quick and free comps, plus free valet parking and “Express Lane” line-jumping services.
