This is another well designed Yggdrasil Gaming video slot. Set against a fortress backdrop, you’ll see playing card suit symbols as well as a quartet of higher paying trolls. The best of them is the troll with a bone in his nose which pays 2, 6 or 8 times your bet if you land 3, 4 or 5 in a line. There’s also a regular wild.
The wild and the 3 troll symbols can all appear in colossal formation. These oversized symbols can stretch to 2×4 to create some potentially large winning clusters. This is called the Colossal Bridge feature. There are plenty of other extras on offer in Trolls Bridge 2.
You have the Free Spins feature which is triggered by landing 3 or more free spin scatters on the same spin. You will get:

With plenty of feature picks in the Free Spins feature, it’s the Bonus Stone feature that will provide the biggest potential payouts. Overall, I prefer Trolls Bridge 2 to the original, Trolls Bridge – the features are pretty much the same but the imagery and graphics and much better in the sequel. If you want to look at other sequels, Dead or Alive II from NetEnt blows the original (Dead or Alive) out of the water (and most other video slots we’ve ever played) with potential wins of 111,111.11 times your bet to be won from 1 of free spins features.
Trolls Bridge is Yggdrasil’s first release of 2019
They did cheat a bit with this new online slot: Trolls Bridge is a new and improved version of their hit slot Golden Fish Tank.
Instead of a fishbowl, the place of action now is a castle with a suspension bridge, and a couple of ugly trolls have replaced the colourful fish.
What has remained are the bonus boosters, the Golden Bet (+25% of the bet) and the high variance.

How does the Trolls Bridge video slot work?
Trolls Bridge has 20 fixed paylines and is played on 5 reels with 3 rows of symbols.
When you play, you can choose to bet with or without Golden Bonus.
It’s like French fries: adding mayonnaise makes it a bit more expensive and a lot tastier.
The Golden Bonus bet will cost you 25% extra but has two significant advantages:

With an active Golden Bonus Bet, the minimum bet is $€ 0.25, and the maximum bet is $€ 250 per spin.
The variance is high: especially the free spins can, with a little luck, payout very well.
Symbols and pay-outs
The trolls are so ugly that they become beautiful and act as premium symbols. There are 4 different trolls in the game, which award between 125 and 250 coins for a 5-of-a-kind.
The card symbols hearts, diamonds, spades and clubs are the low paying symbols and are worth between 50 and 75 coins for a 5-of-a-kind on an active payline.
The wild symbol replaces all symbols except the scatters.
Free spins bonus
The free spins bonus is potentially the most lucrative of all bonus features.
You can win the free spins by spinning 3 or more golden scatters:
- 3 scatters get you 6 free spins + 3 booster picks
- 4 scatters get you 8 free spins + 4 booster picks
- 5 scatters get you 10 free spins + 5 booster picks
- An active Golden Bonus bet will award you + 1 booster pick
The suspension bridge is lowered, and now the real fun starts: you can determine your bonus boosters by turning cards.
Prices range from extra free spins, extra wilds and stacked premium symbols to additional multipliers.
Especially the extra wilds and stacked symbols can be great fun. With a little luck, you can turn them into stacked wilds.
The free spins cannot be re-triggered.
Mystery features
There are two mystery features, which can be activated at any time:

Trolls Bridge is an enjoyable higher variance video slot. With all those extra features, the free spins bonus is phenomenal: it is always exciting to see if you can find the right boosters.
