Underlay should be partially bonded to the surface using BLACK JACK ROOF FELT ADHESIVE. The felt should be lapped, sealed and adequate ventilation provided for the materials beneath it. BLACK JACK ALL WEATHER ROOF COATING and a Glass Membrane should then be applied. ASBESTOS-CEMENT SHEETING Carry out preparatory work.
Clearly this creates entry points into the timber (the timber is usually OSB which is glue on wood - so I suppose the glue will probably stop damp from setting in.
In any case I decided to set it up so the roof lasts a bit longer.
Was curious if I need to use the glue AND reinforce with pins or is glue alone sufficient?
Again, it will be roofing felt on OSB which comprises of wood AND glue. So not sure if roofing felt will adhere properly.
